Three Visions of Heaven

Well, I hope you enjoy these few glimpses of heaven in this video. I want to encourage you as I do in the video to maintain a clean conscience before God, as there are amazing beautiful things we will forfeit if we fail to live pure and be holy as my own vision bears witness to.

I am reminded of Jonah’s words:

Those who cling to worthless idols forfeit the grace that could be theirs.” – Jonah 2:8 NASB

I also want to encourage you to stop partnering with the kingdom of darkness. You have the wonderful opportunity to partner with God’s kingdom of Love and Light. It is a kingdom of righteousness peace and joy in the Holy Spirit!

God has said, “YOU SHALL BE HOLY, FOR I AM HOLY.” 1 Peter 1:16 NASB

That’s actually a really encouraging declaration by the very One who makes it so. Have you ever seen it that way?

Holy means 100% God’s and there is absolutely no reason anyone cannot “be holy” in this very moment as we, “present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship”. (Romans 12:1 NASB)

So lately I have been gathering courage to finally share some of the most amazing things the Lord has revealed to me over the years. You will find many other video blogs of interest at my Youtube channel. Subscribe if you want to stay connected!

Interested in learning more about Visions?

Yea? Hey, that’s funny! Me too!

Here is a great talk by my bro John Crowder on the topic:

ps:

Just watched this video:

It had so many similarities to dreams I have had. Especially getting struck by the bolt of lightning, the tunnel formed by clouds (tornado), and the dance party.

Superman? Help! Nuclear Meltdown!

So I just read this article about the ongoing nuclear meltdown happening in Fukushima Japan. It begins like this:

“There are times when I’m convinced humanity is a suicidal cult of complete idiots whose only real achievement is figuring out increasingly obscene ways to distract themselves from reality…”

It says this is the worlds largest dirty bomb just waiting to explode. He says that aside from Superman intervening that the entire Northern Hemisphere will be poisoned  and that “sometime in the year 26000 A.D. the Fukushima nightmare will be HALF as toxic as it is right now.” (Source: http://www.naturalnews.com/2017-02-06-unimaginable-radiation-levels-detected-at-fukushima-mox-fuel-melts-through-reactor-floor.html)

Oh my Lord Jesus! Ya know, if the world got on its knees and humbly asked help from heaven, he could and would send Superman to solve the problem (any angel or activated Awake saint will do). As my 3 year old little girl reminded me this morning, “Jesus is the great problem solver”. We need to humble ourselves as an entire human species and ask for God’s help that only he can give.

Look what is happening to the Pacific Ocean:

It seems to be turning it from blue to yellow to orange to red… and ultimately to black! Yikes! (Ok, so maybe I shouldn’t make a joke about a rainbow attacking the Pacific ocean).

This article says: “If that weren’t bad enough, Fukushima continues to leak an astounding 300 tons of radioactive waste into the Pacific Ocean every day. It will continue do so indefinitely as the source of the leak cannot be sealed as it is inaccessible to both humans and robots due to extremely high temperatures.”

It goes on to list some of the effects on fish: “Even if we can’t see the radiation itself, some parts of North America’s western coast have been feeling the effects for years. Not long after Fukushima, fish in Canada began bleeding from their gills, mouths, and eyeballs. This “disease” has been ignored by the government and has decimated native fish populations, including the North Pacific herring.”

AND, get this: “Fukushima is having a bigger impact than just the West coast of North America. Scientists are now saying that the Pacific Ocean is already radioactive and is currently at least 5-10 times more radioactive than when the US government dropped numerous nuclear bombs in the Pacific during and after World War II.” (Source: http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2016-10-02/fukushima-radiation-has-contaminated-entire-pacific-ocean-and-its-going-get-worse)

I remember reading something like this in Scripture and the poisoning of the oceans:

“Then the second angel blew his trumpet, and a great mountain of fire was thrown into the sea. One-third of the water in the sea became blood, one-third of all things living in the sea died, and one-third of all the ships on the sea were destroyed.” Revelation 8:8-9 NLT

“Mar. 16, 2014: […] As a senior scientist at the Japanese government’s Meteorological Research Institute, [Michio Aoyama] said levels of radioactive cesium 137 in the surface water of the Pacific Ocean could be 10,000 times as high as contamination after Chernobyl..” (Source: http://enenews.com/nytimes-govt-scientist-allowed-publish-findings-fukushima-cesium-137-could-be-10000-times-higher-pacific-surface-waters-after-chernobyl-japan-researchers-pressure-downplay-disasters-impact-profe)

Ok, so no literal blood yet, but 10,000 times greater contamination than Chernobyl? The world needs a miracle. We all need to pray.

So yea, things might be bad – really bad – but Christ is in the redemption business. He has plans to overcome every evil with good. I trust that he has plans for cleaning up the nuclear toxic waste that is poisoning and killing our planet… but because of stubborn rebellion and rejection of Christ, the great problem solver, things might get a great deal worse before they get better.

Yes, it is our stubbornness and pride and willful rebellion has led to every evil and calamity that this earth and its population has suffered. How high will the cost grow until we humble ourselves and plead for God’s help? Must we continue to harden our hearts against the LORD? He commands everyone everywhere to “repent” (which literally means “to start thinking rightly”, to “have a change of mind”).

Forgive me, I don’t want to come across preachy. I just know I need to continue to humble myself and submit to the Word of God. How easily I stray into other great sounding philosophies (perhaps even lovely sounding doctrines of demons) from the sound Word of God – which, truth be told, is often very sobering (to the ego) before you get to the unspeakable joy. Do we really want to face the truth? I confess that I often want to distract myself from the pain and the reality and gravity of the truth. But can we afford to neglect truth?

No. Burying our heads in the sand is no way to live.

Prayer:

“Yeshua, Jesus, please grant us repentance. You are the great problem solver. We need your help. Things have gotten out of hand down here. I trust you to continue to do what you do best, show love, have compassion, overcome evil with Good, forgive and forget and heal our land. I pray that we would humble ourselves and pray. Awaken us to love and to become true followers of the Way. Awaken us to all the special and supernatural abilities that your Spirit gives. We pray for and receive the Grace to live the abundant life in close fellowship with you our Lord and Savior Jesus.”

“Earnestly Desire Spiritual Gifts” – God

pursue-love-and-earnestly-desire-the-spiritual-gifts-especially-that-you-ma-niv4799

So want to see something fun? My wife Catherine and I went to the 2017 Kingdom Culture Conference in Green Bay. After teaching about prophecy most of the sessions, and especially on the last day, the speaker Bill Vanderbush decided to put it into practice by calling some people up front to “prophecy”. My wife Catherine was one of the first to share that night. Then our good friends Kyle and Emily prophecy over Bill!

Here is the whole definitely-worth-your-time talk with Catherine sharing at about an hour in (link to where she starts):

“Earnestly pursue love, and earnestly desire spiritual gifts, and especially that you might prophesy.” 1 Corinthians 14:1 Berean Literal Bible

REVEALING THE HEART OF JESUS

So what is prophecy?

Well, Paul explains just a verse or so later:

“But one who prophesies strengthens others, encourages them, and comforts them.” 1 Corinthians 14:3 NIV

Prophecy then is a divinely inspired word of revelation (which literally means unveiling – WOW! – that’s the very word Catherine received in her prophecy!) straight from the heart of Jesus that “strengthens, encourages and comforts”.

Would you be surprised if I told you that Prophecy has little to do with “telling the future” or “the end times” or giving a “thus saith the Lord”? (I would highly recommend not trying the last one. It is bad practice for New Covenant saints).

Revelation 19:10 actually tells us that Prophecy is to “reveal or unveil Jesus”, to speak what he is saying. It is giving a clear witness of Jesus. Listen to this:

“Worship God, because what Jesus is saying is the spirit of prophecy!” Revelation 19:10 ISV

Here are some other ways the verse is translated:

  • “…the essence of prophecy is to give a clear witness for Jesus.” NLT
  • “For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.” NASB
  • “For it is the Spirit of prophecy who bears testimony to Jesus.” NIV

Bill Vanderbush tells a story about how he once told a meeting, “You all have Jesus THE Prophet living in you. That makes you all prophets.” The empowered people of God he then brought up from the crowd to minister amazed him with the heart of the Father revelations they brought by the Spirit.

So, how can we learn to hone and use this spiritual gift? Well, desiring it seems a great place to start!

“Let love be your highest goal! But you should also desire the special abilities the Spirit gives–especially the ability to prophesy.” 1 Corinthians 14:1 NLT

As Aarron highlighted from his talk:

Why not start with just encouraging people! Loving people with our words! Building them up!

Yes there are those who carry a greater anointing in some of these giftings like Shawn Bolz. But it all begins with a decision to go after the thing that ought to be our highest goal:

Love.

Shawn focused on loving people well as he earnestly desired and went after, and practiced, and practiced some more, until the Lord released the gifting of Word of Knowledge and Prophecy in greater fashion than I have ever seen! Here Shawn is alongside Bill Johnson at Azuza Now Spring of 2016 giving several accurate words (they followed up) in front of 60,000 people!:

If you’re like me, this will send you on a search through Youtube for every Shawn Bolz video and will result in ordering several copies of his book “Translating God”. One to keep and some to give away. It was one of the best books ever. After I read it I tried prophesying twice and failed twice. But it provoked some conversations about Jesus… so it really wasn’t a fail at all. Shawn tells of a time he thought he had a word of knowledge for someone, approached them in a coffee shop and said, “Does —- mean anything to you?”

“No.” Awkward time passes… “Why do you ask?”

Shawn said, “Well, I’m trying to hear the voice of God for others.”

“Wow, that’s so cool, I’ve always wanted to hear God’s voice.”

They sat down over a cup of coffee and the man received Christ and joined the family!

Pursue loving people. Pursue sharing Jesus heart. Practice words of knowledge when you get them. I’m not sure you CAN fail!

Why are Christians so…

…Loving? (That’s what you were thinking right?)

I read a blog recently which was taking a look at the suggested google query responses when people were searching the question, “Why are Christians so…”

“…Mean?” is the top suggested answer to that question.

Huh? Why would people think that? So then, followers of Mr. Love Himself are considered mean? What’s going on here?

Of course Jesus said that people will know you are his followers if you have love for one another.

“Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples.” John 13:35

I’ll be honest with you. Most of the Christ followers I hang out with are VERY loving. Maybe it’s about time you met a true follower? For some who are reading this, maybe it’s time you become one?

Will Meets Jesus

I came across a video by Will on Youtube about how he met Jesus. It was amazing. In fact it was one of those videos I had to revisit from time to time. I shared his story with my daughters and part of his testimony became a thing we say around the house from time to time. Something Jesus said to Will in his powerful testimony of his experience:

“Will, What’s up my dude?”

It’s pretty cute hearing my three old say, “What’s up my dude?”

Some of the comments included, “Best thing on the internet”, “I can see the joy of Jesus in your heart”, “Your testimony moved me”.

Here is some of Will’s story as best as I can recall although sadly it will not be infused with Will’s awesome joyful attitude:

Will was an atheist as a teenager. He thought those Christians were crazy and had nothing to do with them. And then God showed up in his life. God spoke quite clearly to him, “Will, I want you to follow me.”

Will knew that this was God and said, “Bad timing dude. I’m just about to go to college and live the party life.” God respectfully left.

Will then pursued drugs and girls and made a complete mess of his life and broke his own heart with his sin.

When he was at a very low point Will looked out the window and saw a light hovering down the street and this light floated right through the wall and into the room of where he was.

“Will, What’s up my dude?” Jesus said.

And he was like, “Woah, is that you Jesus?”

“Yea Will, it’s me, and I am the great problem solver.”

He was shown a vision of rubiks cubes all lined up on a table that stretched out as far as the eye can see and as soon as a stopwatch was pressed, Jesus stood by having solved all the rubiks cubes.

“I can solve all the problems in your life. Just give them to me.”

Pretty awesome right?

Just as a side note, unless we are new wine skins we will burst and be ruined when God pours out the new wine… and he is pouring it out. Are you ready for it?

So what do you think of Will’s testimony? Watch it for yourself here:
